SUPPORTING AGENCIES
Agencies working in isolation can sometimes miss the wider picture or even remain unaware of the important contributions being made by their colleagues from other agencies. The StrongFamilies process is designed to foster an environment of broad understanding and collaboration in which the skills and expertise of multiple agencies are effectively combined to deliver the best possible support for families that need it.
This section of the website provides Agency Workers with comprehensive details of the StrongFamilies process: what it is, how it works and why it’s different. It explains how to obtain the consent of families that may wish to participate and how to make contact with the nearest StrongFamilies Coordinator. Also included is an outline of the roles and responsibilities expected of participating Agencies and a range of useful tools that will help them explain the StrongFamilies process to their families.
